Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors influencing passengers' intentions to
use interprovincial rail transport services in Vietnam. Data were collected from articles
related to the intention to use interprovincial rail transport in Vietnam, with 269 survey
samples from passengers who intended to use the interprovincial rail system. The results
indicate that six factors influence passengers' intention to use interprovincial rail services:
subjective norms, environmental protection, positive attitude, perceived value, affordable
price, and time reliability. Based on these findings, several recommendations have been
made to attract more passengers to use interprovincial rail transport in Vietnam.
