Using a Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium
(DSGE) model, the study finds that carbon pricing leads to increased operational costs and short-term
declines in profitability, particularly in the energy and cement sectors, while simultaneously encouraging
investment in clean technologies. However, smaller firms face greater financial constraints compared to
larger firms. Complementary qualitative insights reveal concerns about declining international
competitiveness in export-oriented industries and emphasize the need for stronger government support. The
study concludes that although carbon pricing is effective in reducing emissions, its overall success depends
on supportive policies to ensure a balanced and sustainable transition to a low-carbon economy.
Cong Tu Huu Tai Nguyen Tan Linh Vo Chi Nha Vu Thi Truc Anh Le Thi Lan Phuong Tran Thi Copyright (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Bình Dương 2026-03-27 2026-03-27 9 1 10.56097/binhduonguniversityjournalofscienceandtechnology.v9i1.374 The current state of green supply chain management in Vietnam: From research to practice https://jst.bdu.edu.vn/index.php/jst/article/view/380
In the context of globalization and increasing
pressure from climate change, green supply
chain management (GSCM) has emerged as a
crucial strategic approach to balance economic
growth with environmental protection. In
Southeast Vietnam, the country’s key industrial
hub, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
are facing growing pressure to adopt green
transformation, yet there remains a lack of
systematic research. It employs methods of synthesis,
analysis, theoretical comparison, and descriptive
statistics, based on reliable secondary data
collected from reports of international
organizations and government agencies. The
research findings reveal four core groups of
barriers: weak internal financial capacity of
enterprises; stringent credit appraisal and
lending mechanisms of banks; limitations in the
supporting policy framework; and disruptions
and inadequacies in supply chain linkages.
Based on these findings, the study proposes a
set of comprehensive solutions to remove
financial bottlenecks, thereby helping enterprises
enhance their competitiveness in the new
context.
Vũ Cẩm Nhung Phan Minh Xuân Phan Thị Cúc Vũ Tiến Đạt Copyright (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Bình Dương 2026-03-19 2026-03-19 9 1 10.56097/binhduonguniversityjournalofscienceandtechnology.v9i1.379 Factors Affecting Office Employees’ Satisfaction with the Quality of Online Food Delivery Services in Ho Chi Minh City https://jst.bdu.edu.vn/index.php/jst/article/view/381
This study is conducted to systematize the
theoretical foundations of service quality and
satisfaction, identify the factors affecting office
employees’ satisfaction with Online Food
Delivery Services (OFDS), and assess the
impact level of each factor. The analysis focuses on five modelled determinants of profitability,
namely price volatility, exchange rate fluctuations, policy risk, market liquidity, and GDP growth. A two-step
System Generalized Method of Moments estimator is employed to examine the dynamic relationship
between these factors and profitability while addressing endogeneity and persistence in panel data. To
complement the regression analysis, Value-at-Risk is used to quantify the downside exposure of major
traded commodities under different confidence levels. The findings indicate that price volatility, currency
fluctuations, and policy risk exert significant negative effects on profitability, whereas market liquidity and
GDP growth have significant positive effects. The results also show that crude oil exhibits the highest
downside risk, followed by aluminum and rice. The study contributes empirical evidence from an emerging
market context by linking dynamic profitability estimation with commodity-specific risk quantification. The
findings imply that market participants should strengthen exchange rate and price-risk management, while
policymakers should improve regulatory stability and market liquidity to support more sustainable trading
performance
Nguyen Duc Thanh Nguyen Quoc Dinh Le Xuan Ba Tran Cong Nghiep Phan Khanh Duy Copyright (c) 2026 Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ Trường Đại học Bình Dương 2026-03-05 2026-03-05 9 1 10.56097/binhduonguniversityjournalofscienceandtechnology.v9i1.386 A study of Metal Manufacturing Supply Chain Management Strategy qualifies IWAY-CSR Criteria at Ikea Southeast Asia https://jst.bdu.edu.vn/index.php/jst/article/view/387
In Southeast Asia, where metal suppliers must
simultaneously meet regulatory standards for
quality, cost and sustainability, IKEA chose a
different path: combining the IWAY–CSR
management framework with artificial
intelligence (AI) through the network model and
ANN–GA genetic algorithm.
