https://jst.bdu.edu.vn/index.php/jst/article/view/236

This study develops the UCTV (U.S.-China Tension Index from Vietnamese
Media) to quantify the level of U.S.-China tension from the perspective of Vietnamese
media. The dataset comprises over 700,000 economic news articles collected from five
major Vietnamese economic news sources during the period of 2014–2023, utilizing
automated data collection techniques (web scraping) combined with the Python
newspaper3k library, followed by filtering through a keyword catalog and manual
validation. Analytical results demonstrate that the data from the five sources underpinning
UCTV exhibit high reliability, with internal consistency confirmed by a Cronbach’s Alpha
coefficient. The index shows significant alignment with the UCT (U.S.-China Tension
Index) of the United States and the GEPU (Global Economic Policy Uncertainty Index),
while no clear correlation is observed with the GPR (Geopolitical Risk Index). UCTV
captures substantial fluctuations associated with key geopolitical events impacting
Vietnam, such as the HD-981 oil rig incident (May 2014) and the U.S.-China Trade War
(2018–2019). This research not only provides an effective quantitative tool to assist
Vietnamese businesses and government in assessing geopolitical risks and formulating
long-term strategies amid global instability, but also offers a clearer perspective on the
dynamics of U.S.-China tension through the lens of domestic media. Furthermore, UCTV
holds the potential to serve as a foundation for advancing similar studies in other domains,
broadening the application of media data in quantitative analysis.
Hoang Anh Le Phuc Bao Nguyen Chi Bao Le Doan Thanh Vinh Thai Duc Phat Le

https://jst.bdu.edu.vn/index.php/jst/article/view/237

E-contracting has revolutionized modern business by streamlining and speeding up the
contracting process, turning what traditionally took months into a matter of days or hours. Advances
in artificial intelligence (AI) and widespread use of the Internet have greatly facilitated this
transformation. E-contracts comply with all required legal requirements and transform traditional
paperwork into a digital format, enabling seamless transactions in global markets. The advent of econtracts has simplified purchasing processes, allowing consumers to order, cancel, return products
and make warranty claims online with unprecedented ease. This flexibility transcends geographical
boundaries, making both national and international transactions more simple and efficient. AI plays
a key role in this new paradigm by providing tools that can review and manage large volumes of
contracts faster and more accurately than human capabilities.
The integration of AI into e-contracts has introduced new dimensions to contract management,
including the ability for AI systems to enter into contracts autonomously, a previously unimaginable
concept. This development has sparked discussion over the future legal status of AI in contract law.
Despite ongoing debates, the role of AI in contracting is increasingly being recognized, with new
standards emerging to address the unique challenges and benefits it brings. Major online
marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart and Alibaba exemplify the practical application of econtracts, providing users with a straightforward and efficient means to purchase goods and services.
Ease of use, instant confirmation, and comprehensive post-purchase support, including cancellations
and returns, highlight the significant improvements that AI and the Internet have brought to the
contracting process.
The integration of AI and e-contracts has fundamentally changed the way contracts are formed,
executed and managed. This technological advancement delivers increased efficiency, accessibility,
and reliability in modern business transactions, underscoring the profound impact AI will have on
the future of contract law and commerce.
Ravinder Kumar

The Matlab-Simulink tool is utilized to solve these differential equations and
determine the dynamic response of the two-axle vehicle system subjected to external
excitations. These excitations are measured and simulated based on real road surface
irregularities recorded by a Walking Profiler device. The research results have successfully
developed a vehicle dynamics model that considers the random roughness of the road
surface during vehicle operation. The random roughness factor of the road surface is
incorporated into the simulation model as a primary excitation factor affecting the
characteristic outcomes of vehicle oscillations.
Cao Hieu Le Hai Phi HaVan Tinh Nguyen Hong Thao PhamVan Cuong Le

Today, in the world, railway transportation uses two most common types of traction
power, which are electric traction and diesel traction. Railways that use electric traction are
called electrified railways. After more than a century of operation, HSR has become very
popular thanks to its outstanding advantages compared to railways using diesel traction,
especially in developed industrial countries. accounting for about 50% of the total length of the
national railway network. Meanwhile, in Vietnam in recent years, only three urban railway lines
using electric traction have been built. Faced with that situation, the problem for the
transportation industry is the need to quickly have a plan to apply electric traction to improve
investment efficiency while ensuring environmental safety and competitiveness of the industry.
Rail transport is in accordance with the National Strategy on Green Growth for the period 2021
- 2030, vision 2050 approved in Decision No. 1658/QD-TTg dated October 1, 2021 of the
Prime Minister... This article will introduce an overview of the current situation, economic -
technical efficiency and development trends of hydroelectric railways in the world, and then
provide recommendations for competent authorities on Planning and selection of traction
technology for sustainable development of Vietnam's railway transport.
Anh Sang HoXuan Ngo BuiTran Nhat Phuong Nguyen Hoang SonNgoc Thien Dang

Recently, the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has become popular in
various fields such as agriculture, transportation, and healthcare. In the poultry farming
industry, closed farming systems equipped with advanced technology, particularly smart
farming systems, have developed rapidly. However, there are still some issues due to
unfavorable environmental conditions in the coops. Inappropriate temperature and
humidity levels in chicken coops can make chickens more susceptible to diseases.
Therefore, this paper studies and develops a system to monitor and control the environment
in the coop using sensors and the Internet of Things (IoT) platform.
Ngoc Trung Kien Phung Hoang Khoi Nguyen Trung Hau Le
