In the context of globalization and increasing
pressure from climate change, green supply
chain management (GSCM) has emerged as a
crucial strategic approach to balance economic
growth with environmental protection. In
Southeast Vietnam, the country’s key industrial
hub, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
are facing growing pressure to adopt green
transformation, yet there remains a lack of
systematic research. This study employs a
bibliometric analysis based on 133 scholarly
publications (2014-2025) retrieved from Scopus.
The findings identify seven core factor groups
determining GSCM effectiveness, extending the
theoretical framework and proposing a practical
reference tool for SMEs to develop green
strategies. Future research directions include
empirical validation and assessment of green
technology investment efficiency.
