Smart Poultry Farming System Based on IoT

Abstract

Recently, the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has become popular in
various fields such as agriculture, transportation, and healthcare. In the poultry farming
industry, closed farming systems equipped with advanced technology, particularly smart
farming systems, have developed rapidly. However, there are still some issues due to
unfavorable environmental conditions in the coops. Inappropriate temperature and
humidity levels in chicken coops can make chickens more susceptible to diseases.
Therefore, this paper studies and develops a system to monitor and control the environment
in the coop using sensors and the Internet of Things (IoT) platform.
